The 'Flash' & 'Supergirl' Musical Crossover Gets Premiere Date

May 2024 · 2 minute read

Last summer, the CW confirmed a musical crossover between two of its hit shows: The Flash and Supergirl. Now after months of waiting for details about the crossover, we finally get an air date!

The episode, appropriately titled “Duet” will begin on March 20th during Supergirl and then continue onto The Flash on March 21st. This format is similar to the “Invasion!” episode with The Flash, Supergirl, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow that aired in November.

EW previously reported that the villain for the crossover will be the Music Meister, as seen on the animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The Music Meister has the power to control his victims through song. Although Neil Patrick Harris voiced him in the animated series, it hasn’t been confirmed who will be playing the role for the live-action version.

Dermott Downs will direct the episode, which will include musical performances by Glee alumni Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist, as well as other actors from the “Arrowverse”: Jesse L. Martin (The Flash) , Victor Garber (Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash), Carlos Valdes (The Flash), Jeremy Jordan (Supergirl) and John Barrowman (Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow). Supergirl‘s David Harewood and Chris Wood will make non-singing appearances.
