Montenegros Eurovision 2017 Song Space By Slavko Kalezic Has Been Released

Back in December 2016, Slavko Kalezic was chosen to represent his country Montenegro at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv with the song “Space”. The video for the song has been released on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel and amassed 100,000 views in 14 hours.

What a way to start!

The song in question was produced in collaboration with the Swedish Stefan Örn, Jovan Radomir and Johan Kronlund in Stockholm last month; meanwhile, the director of the video for “Space” is Dejan Milicevic, who will be directing Kalezic’s Eurovision performance as well.

According to the singer; with his music, he wants to inspire his fans and true people.

We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better.

Kalezic’s career first started off in 2013 when he participated in X-Factor Adria. His mentor during the show was Željko Joksimovic, who already had a lot of experience in Eurovision. Namely, Joksimovic represented Serbia and Montenegro in 2004, hosted the contest in 2008 and returned as a participant in 2012.

Slavko loves the arts and has been a permanent member of the acting ensemble of the Montenegrin National Theatre since 2008. In addition, with over 30 theatrical and six filming roles, he has had success in film and television. Recently, his debut album “The Dream of Eternity” was released, and he is can hardly wait for Eurovision.
