Jamie Dornan Reveals Some of The Bizarre Fan Mail He Got After The Success Of Fifty Shades Of Grey

May 2024 · 2 minute read

According to Jamie Dornan, he’s had some weird fan mail over the years. Jamie first came to prominence in a big way with his appearances as Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey series. Once the film franchise became successful, Dornan began receiving a lot of fan mail that he described as quite “freaky” at times.

During a recent conversation with Vanity Fair, the 38-year-old addressed one letter he got from a person during the quarantine this year. Jamie said he was sent a collage of pictures of a small child which the person said belonged to him.

Dornan went on to say that the person accused him of fathering the child, and his wife should know that it’s his. According to the actor, he believes the crazed fan thought the baby belonged to him and Dakota Johnson, which, obviously is a fictional relationship based on their characters in the film franchise.

Jamie claimed it really “piqued our interest,” however, he had to note just how “freaky” it was. Dornan’s romantic life is actually much simpler, Page Six noted. Jamie has been married to his wife, Amela Warner, for the last seven years, and they have three children together including Alberta, Elva, and Dulcie.

They’ve loved each other ever since they met, Jamie explained, noting how he knew she was the one for him after talking to her for the first time. Jamie says he just knew they were going to have a family. He claimed it was a “really weird thing” to feel that way about someone so immediately.

This wouldn’t be the first time Jamie was in the headlines this year. The actor was intimately involved with the “Imagine” cover from Gal Gadot and all of her friends when the coronavirus lockdown first began in the early months of 2020.

When Jamie spoke to the hosts of the Tea With Me podcast with Shane Todd, Jamie said he believed Gal Gadot’s intentions were pure. It was coming from the right place, but it just didn’t come across the way she wanted it to.
