However, soon after that, Johnson posted on Instagram a photo of Andrew East’s father with their children, along with the remark, “I miss you. We miss you.”

Who exactly was Andrew East’s Dad?

Andrew East was the offspring of Guy East and Marsha East, his father’s spouse. Andrew East was the third of Guy and Marsha East’s five children to be born. 

He was born on September 17, 1991. Guy, James, Grant, and Christine are the names of his brothers and sister.

Guy East was born on December 9, 1959, and he passed away on January 6, 2019, less than a month after he turned 63.

Guy East was a football player in his own right, just like his son. During the latter part of the 1970s, Guy was a Purdue University football team member during its most successful season. 

Between the years 1978 to 1982, he attended Purdue, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management. 

After that, he went on to earn a Master of Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He is currently working in the construction industry.

The man who would become Andrew East’s father went on to have a career in construction while continuing to maintain bees on the side. 

Guy frequently shared his enthusiasm for bees on his social media platforms.

In a statement released by the family about Guy East’s passing in December of this year, they recalled him as a man who was devoted to both his family and his faith.

According to the statement, Guy had a deep love for the Lord, was committed to studying the scriptures, led an honest life, and did everything in his power to assist others in doing the same. “He was a family man who never missed an opportunity to be present for his children and grandchildren and who was constantly thinking of new ways to bless, encourage, and educate them. 

He was a triathlete, beekeeper, master tradesman, author, innovator, entrepreneur, coach, volunteer, scoutmaster, a devoted follower of Christ, loving husband and father, and a faithful friend to many.” “He lived life to the fullest in every category; he was an author, innovator, entrepreneur, coach, volunteer, and scoutmaster.”

Loss and Suffering from Andrew East’s late father

The day before Christmas, on December 17, Andrew East’s father took some time to dwell on his loss and grief following his father’s departure. 

In a post that he wrote for Instagram, Guy East mentioned how his family enjoyed viewing the movie “I Heard the Bells,” which tells the narrative of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, the author that Guy East’s father admired the most.

Guy East wrote in the post’s caption, “I only wish he was sitting next to us as we watched this very special drama last night about a man he related to and that persevered through much grief at the loss of a close and beloved family member,” about his late father.
